Common questions
Does Bifold see my bank password?
No. You enter bank credentials into Plaid's own screen, never into Bifold. Bifold receives only account and transaction data, and never a password or a multi-factor code.
A bank is asking me to reconnect. Why?
Banks expire access periodically, and some ask you to reconfirm consent once a year. Bifold shows one banner with one tap into the reconnect screen. Your history stays put throughout - reconnecting repairs the existing connection rather than adding a second one.
How do I disconnect a bank?
Settings › tap the bank › Disconnect. The connection is removed at Plaid and the stored token is deleted immediately. Transactions already synced are kept so your history stays whole.
How do I delete my account?
Settings › Delete account. Every bank disconnects from Plaid and all of your data is erased. It cannot be undone.
